He Remembers Our Sins No More
God is not the author of confusion. When you read the Word and ponder it in your heart, you can count on what you hear in your spirit is coming from the Holy Spirit. What you ‘hear’ in your heart will never contradict the Word of God. It will confirm it. Yet, many Christians are confused because they hear one thing in their mind, and another from other sources, and they are perplexed.
Much of what we are listening to is based on our emotions – how it makes us feel. Set your emotions aside and hear what God has to say in His Word regarding your current situation.
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one” John 10:27-30.
You can be secure in your salvation, and this will affect how you live life as a Christian. The key is the word ‘never.’ They shall never perish.
Your Sins Are Forgiven
The original text in Greek for the word ‘never’ is ou me. This is a double negative, strongly emphasizing the meaning of ‘never, certainly not, not at all, by no means.” This assures you that you cannot perish when you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
If you know someone who doubts their salvation, it exposes how they do not value the finished work of Jesus on the cross. It also makes light of what Jesus endured for us on the cross for our salvation, forgiveness, and redemption.
“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” Romans 10:9.
No one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand” John 10:29.
“For God so loved the world that He gave us His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” John 3:16.
If you are a born-again believer established in His grace you will want to live a life that glorifies His name. Recognize that grace is not a doctrine or a formula. Grace is a person, and His name is Jesus!
The Word Of His Grace
You can relate to Him, share your thoughts with Him, share your fears or concerns and He will respond to you. You will hear His voice in your heart. It is that innermost still small voice that resonates with what the Word is telling you.
As we develop our relationship with Jesus our desires change, and we become zealous for Jesus’ glory to be evident in our lives.
Do you remember the story of the man in Lystra? “And in Lystra, a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who had never walked. This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, said with a loud voice, “Stand up straight on your feet!” And he leaped and walked” Acts 14:8-10.
If you need faith for a breakthrough in any situation in your life, make sure you are hearing and believing what the Word of Christ says.
“Now faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of Christ” Romans 10:17. Some translations say the Word of God, but the Greek word used here is Christos. It is important to note the difference because the Word of Christ refers to the Word of the new covenant, the Word of His grace.
“So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified” Acts 20:32.
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom” Colossians 3:16.
Your Sins Are Remembered No More!
Take these scriptures, print them out, read them until they are written on your heart, and realize that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. What He promised during Paul’s time, He still promises today.
Inscribe on your heart that your sins are forgiven and never to be remembered because of what the Word of Christ promises you.
Your sins have been forgiven through Christ and you are now the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. No matter what you hear elsewhere, know that God cannot lie, and His Word is yes and amen – every time.
You can overcome every giant in your life with boldness and victory.
“For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more” Hebrews 8:12.
‘No more’ means that there was a time when God remembered our sins, even to punish them to the third and fourth generations as found in the Ten Commandments.
But today God says, “No more!” It is the double negative that is used in Greek which means that He will never again remember our sins against us because He remembered to put all of our sins in the body of His Son.
Are you shouting Hallelujah?
