Condemnation Has No Place In You

condemnation has no place in you

Where do you live? Do you live under the heavy yoke of condemnation? Are you living in a state of guilt? Do you see your Heavenly Father as your judge?

This state of mind brings not only fear but a mindset that you will never be good enough or do enough to warrant God’s blessings.

The good news is that there is NO condemnation or guilt for those who believe in Jesus Christ. The eighth chapter of Romans deals with this message along with numerous references through the New Testament that make it clear how God looks at us and our shortcomings.

Yet, many Christians choose to live in a guilt-ridden, fear-stricken state of mind because they are listening to their thoughts which are not coming from God.

Live The Abundant Life

live the abundant life

When you hear what God is saying to you through His Word and it is confirmed in your spirit through the Rhema Word, you can start to live the abundant life that God intended for you.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned” John 3:17-18.

There is, therefore, NO condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus” Romans 8:1.

These references, among numerous others, are statements of fact. They are not based on who you are, what you do, what you think, or what you do not do. They are based on the fact that God does not condemn you because you are covered by the Blood of the Lamb who took all your sins upon Himself.

When He said, “It is finished,” His work was complete. Our only job is to believe His Word and His promise.

When you choose to live under that yoke of condemnation and fear you are believing that you are still under the Mosaic covenant and the Ten Commandments.

Look how the apostle Paul describes the Ten Commandments. “But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious….how will the ministry of the Spirit not be MORE glorious? For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory” 2 Corinthians 3:7-9.

There is a clear distinction in the Word. The Ten Commandments minister death and condemnation because NO man was able to keep God’s perfect law.

Gift Of God's Righteousness

gift of god's righteousness

Failure to keep the law brought you under its curse, condemned you, and hung a death sentence over you. But under the New Covenant of grace, you have the spirit of liberty and the gift of God’s righteousness.

We cannot keep God’s perfect law. It is impossible. Jesus did not come to abolish the law but to FULFILL it on our behalf. Matthew 5:17 says, “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.”

This was accomplished when Jesus said, “It is finished!.” He met the demands of the first covenant, which is the Mosaic covenant of the Ten Commandments to put the new covenant of God’s grace into effect.

Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first that he may establish the second. By which we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all” Hebrews 10:9-10.

Christ’s death and resurrection made all the difference. We no longer have to live under condemnation and fear. We now live under the new covenant of grace. We are fully forgiven, justified, and made righteous by Jesus’ blood.

Condemnation Has No Place...

not guilty

We are justified by faith NOT by our works or what we do or do not do. Period. Condemnation is a thief. It ministers guilt, insecurity, dread, anxieties, and fear. It robs you of peace of mind and joy, of faith and confidence in God’s love and forgiveness.

Instead of looking for God’s judgment, you will look for His blessings. Start to apply the truth of God’s promises to your life as God planned for you.

Today is liberation day. YOU ARE FREE.

The choice is yours alone.  You can decide to believe the lies of the enemy OR…..you can choose to believe what the Bible says about you. You are NOT under condemnation. You ARE under righteousness because Jesus paid the price.

Stop being fearful that your failures will cause Him to punish you or withhold His blessings from you. That is a lie. Jesus bore the punishment meant for you – upon Himself at the cross.

REMEMBER - The enemy wants to define you by your scars, but Jesus wants to define you by His.
