Head Knowledge Vs. Heart Knowledge - See Real Change Happen

There is a major difference between head knowledge and heart knowledge. Do you know what it is? Do you think it matters?
Every day we hear many voices. We are surrounded by noise. What is the key to knowing what voices to regard as truth? Accurate understanding comes from your spirit to differentiate between the things we hear in our spirit and the things we hear elsewhere.
There is only one truth we should base our Christian walk on and that is the Word of God. But sometimes, that is not as easy as it sounds. Many voices claim to speak the truth but how do we know for sure?
The key is to realize that our mind is carnal. It cannot be renewed. It is not righteous; it is not holy. This video explains in detail what the Bible says about the renewal of the mind. It will surprise you.
The difference is your mind is head knowledge and your spirit is God-given knowledge (Rhema Word) that brings understanding to your mind FROM your spirit.
The struggle that many Christians attest to is that they are constantly trying to renew their mind and make it better. THAT CANNOT HAPPEN.
The Renewing Of Our Spirit

Only through the renewing of our spirit (at salvation) and the understanding of our spirit, that the full understanding of the Word comes alive. This is where we will see a change and become victorious in our walk with God.
BUT our spirit is not carnal. Our spirit is where the Holy Spirit dwells. Therefore, it is holy and righteous. He is living in our spirit and when you develop your listening skills to hear what your spirit is saying – it will never contradict what the Word of God says.
It is also important to understand the difference between the Logos Word of God and the Rhema Word. (explained in video below)
When we read the Bible, we are reading the Logos (written) Word. If a historian or scholar is reading the Bible as a book, they are reading it from their human point of view. It can appear foolish and confusing.
However, when you read the Bible and understand that the Word of God is truth and it is alive, you will hear God speak to you in your spirit. The scriptures come alive.
You know that you know in your ‘knower’ that what you are reading is for you – it is the spoken or Rhema Word of God from His mouth to your spirit. This is cause to rejoice.
When you hear God speak to you from His Word, all doubt, all fear, all confusion is void. God cannot contradict what He has spoken in His Word. It is forever yes and amen. He is bound by it.
There Is No Doubt

What does that mean for you? When you hear God speaking to you from His Word in your innermost person, your spirit, you know it is truth. You understand that His promises are for you. There is no doubt.
He cannot contradict that. When we get that Rhema Word into our spirit, we gain understanding.
“Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed CAN BE. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God” Romans 8:7-8.
We cannot please God in our carnal flesh. All our efforts and our works are on our carnal side. We must understand the Word through our spirits. Our carnal mind cannot be changed or transformed. It is impossible. We are human.
It is the renewing of our spirit, the understanding of our spirit, the understanding of the Word that comes from our spirit that brings clarity. It affects our natural man and our way of thinking.
The battleground that we often attest to is in our mind – it is never in our spirit. There is no battle in our spirit. Why Is There A Struggle?

The enemy is fully aware that he cannot touch our spirit, he cannot influence us there, he has no authority there - it is hands off. When we tap into the understanding coming from our spirit from God's Word, then we get the Rhema Word or God's Word spoken from His mouth to our hearts.
Why is there a struggle? Because we have not yet learned how to tap into how to hear what God is saying in our spirit. God's Word is true. God cannot lie. That is where we get our strength. The battleground is not in our spirit, it is in our mind.
The enemy can go to great lengths to manipulate our thoughts so that we think they are our thoughts. Therefore, it is crucial to listen to what God is saying to our hearts – not what we are hearing in our minds.
“But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ” II Cor 11:3.
“Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’? And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Genesis 3: 1 – 5
The enemy used the Word to twist and manipulate Eve’s thoughts. He ATTACKED the truth by twisting the truth.
The initial sin – the sin of doubting God’s Word - was the sin of rebellion!
Know the Difference Between Head Knowledge And Heart Knowledge

SINCE THAT TIME – there has been a battle between Satan and us. He has endeavored to manipulate our minds. He is the master of dealing in the thought realm and knows how our minds wander……
HE WINS when we accept the guilt of those thoughts. READ THAT AGAIN.
Have you ever accused yourself of thinking that you must be sinning to allow thoughts into your mind? Understand fully that Satan uses every opportunity to use the power of suggestion.
In other words, when we hear these thoughts, we immediately think they are our thoughts. Sometimes, they come out of nowhere. At times, they may be terrible thoughts and we immediately come under a heavy load of guilt.
Remember what Romans 8:7 said? The carnal mind is enmity against God for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
There is a full-scale campaign going on in our lives – in the thought realm. This is precisely why it is of UTMOST importance to understand the Rhema Word and how to differentiate between the words in our mind and those in our spirit.
This is why I have included three videos in this post – please watch them and get a full understanding of the difference between head-knowledge and heart-knowledge.
The more time you spend listening to all the lies and all the noise – you will not hear the voice of God in your spirit.
