The Laws Of Physics Defied... Again!

laws of physics defied

Enormous logging trucks traveling on the narrow two-lane highway were a usual occurrence. And as I encountered them during my daily drive, the tension increased when they approached from the opposite direction, particularly on a curve.

I always took extra precautions gripping the steering wheel a bit tighter as I neared each bend.

Without warning, two of the four immense front tires from a logging truck speeded toward me. They approached my vehicle at a horrendous speed.

My heart pounded. “No!” I shouted out loud. “God help me!”

The rumble became deafening as they gained speed similar to steamrollers heading toward my car. Even if I wanted to, I couldn’t swerve out of the way on that narrow road. I cried out loud again, “Help me, Jesus!”

As I watched those tires race towards my vehicle, the scenario seemed to be in slow motion but in reality, was only a split second. The tires separated right in front of me. They passed by either side of my car. I could hear the “whoosh” as they flew past my window.

A Miracle!

I slowed down and pulled over when it was safe. The driver of the logging rig stopped in the middle of the highway, jumped out, and ran toward me.

I leaned my head out of the window and shouted at him, “Are you okay?”

His eyes were wide open. “Did you see that? I couldn’t believe it. I ain’t never seen nothin’ like it in all my years as a trucker,” his voice trembled, “I’ve seen some bad accidents when a semi loses a tire. But I lost two and they were headed right at you.”

I nodded.

Lady, you got angels around you or what?

I burst into laughter in relief. I looked at him. “Yes, sir, I do. They always protect me.”

He wiped his brow and inhaled a deep breath.

I smiled in understanding. “Do you want me to drive into town and send a tow truck to help you?”

I’ll be fine,” he shook his head, “I’ll radio for help but thanks. Ain’t seen nothin’ like it.”

I smiled and waved. “I’ll never forget this and I’ll pray for you whenever I think about it.”

God's Word Is Always True

god's word

Just like any other promise in God’s Word, He cannot lie. When we receive the truths and promises that are written and know in our hearts that God will perform what He has promised, then we can sleep well.

We understand that God knows what we need before we even ask. How could we possibly know about impending danger? God does.

In Matthew 6:7 – 8, it says: And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. Therefore, do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.

None of these stories surprised God. He knew each circumstance beforehand and sent His angels to protect us. When we approach God with a thankful heart and believe that He has us in His hand, we do not have to live in fear.

Stories about angels may have been dismissed as ‘fairy tales’ but not anymore. There is no space in this book on miracles to cover the subject of angels.

Truth About Angels

truth about angels

New Age books teach about unscriptural and occultic angelic visitations of angels. I recommend Terry Law’s book, Truth About Angels: Encounters from a Biblical Perspective if this subject interests you.

Terry Law reveals the truth about angels and how they are involved in the lives of believers. He shares numerous true stories from around the world that are undisputed.

Angels are prevalent in New Age teachings but the Word tells us in 1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they are of God.

Terry Law’s book clearly defines the angelic realm of Satan’s angels and the role of God’s angels. Any angelic message must line up with scripture and this book is an excellent study that teaches how to distinguish the difference between angels of light and angels of God.

2 Corinthians 11:14 says Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

We are not to seek after angels or worship them. Terry Law addresses any questions you may have about angels in his book. It is thorough and based solely on the Word of God with numerous references.

If you have an encounter with an angel, how do you test it to be sure it is of God?

"Beloved, do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they are of God" (1 John 4:1).We are warned in 2 Corinthians 11:14, "Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light."

  • Did the angelic being tell you that it has appeared because you are a chosen person from a special group of evolved humans?
  • Does he encourage you to pray to it or to worship it?
  • Does he promise to reward you with material wealth in exchange for your devotion?

Various scriptures advise us that angels are not to be worshipped, and true heavenly beings will discourage humans who attempt to bow down to them.

By this, you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard was coming and is now already in the world.” (1 John 4:2-4)
